Holding and shaping space.
With intuition as a central methodology, the Wisdom Year will help you cultivate clear perception. Together, we will create sacred space, shape energy, and use priestessing skills.
For women of many paths.

Expand your intuitive awareness
Deepen your spiritual practice
Learn self-care and energy work tools

Connect deeply with with nature
Integrate the gifts you already possess
Take a quantum leap on your path
“I highly recommend this program for anyone interested in upleveling their spiritual life.”
— Marie, member of the 2017 and 2018 cohorts

Rhythm
Our year-long journey keeps a steady rhythm that supports you along your path. Group meetings introduce the wisdom theme for the month. Weekly rhythms keep you connected with the theme and with your cohort. Daily sanctuary keeps you connected with you. Quarterly mentorship sessions provide tailored-for-you support.
Monthly Cohort Gathering
1 Saturday per month
11:00 am – 12:30 pm Pacific time
Zoom Video
Monthly cohort gatherings introduce the theme for each month. We will use a variety of transformative processes to engage the theme including guided visualization, active energy meditation, deep writing, and creative reflection. Participants also get the opportunity to hear from each other and develop active listening and space-holding skills.
Our first gathering is January 8, 2022. See the calendar below for the dates for all of our cohort gatherings. There are 12 gatherings based on the 12 Seeds of Wisdom themes. Our 13th gathering is a completion ceremony. There are also four additional, seasonal bonus gatherings.
Please note: cohort gatherings are intimate encounters with a small group of women. We are sitting in circle together — seeing each other and being seen, sharing and witnessing. For the sake of privacy, monthly gatherings will be recorded only if the entire group agrees to it.
Daily Sanctuary
15 minutes every day, wherever you are
Daily sanctuary provides the consistency needed to anchor spiritual development. Think of these 15 minutes as your own private temple in which you connect with the divine in you. Your daily sanctuary will be unique to you — it may take the form of meditation, exercise, a walk in nature, art-making, writing or some other meaningful way you can connect with yourself. The form itself can change, but the intention remains the same: 15 minutes a day every day for a year of sacred time to nourish your soul.
Your daily sanctuary begins January 1, 2022. You will be provided with guidance prior to our first group meeting on how to create meaningful and sustainable daily sanctuary.
Weekly Practices
A new practice is introduced every Saturday
Weekly practices keeps you engaged with our monthly theme and accountable to the process. Practices might include reflecting on a piece of writing, creating an altar, spending time in nature, doing a specific spiritual practice or self-care activity, making a challenge for yourself and meeting it, doing a Seeds of Wisdom card reading for a friend, and other relevant (and manageable) activities that help you deepen with the monthly theme and/or with a specific transformative skill.
Participants are invited to share about their experiences with the practices by posting to our secure community messaging platform. For example, if the practice is to make an altar, then you could share about your experience by posting a photo of the altar. Sharing about your experience is highly recommended as it helps you fully metabolize the practice itself. It also helps build a rich and intimate community.
Our first practice will be introduced on January 1, 2022 and should be completed prior to our first monthly meeting on January 8, 2022.
Weekly Partnership
10-minute phone call per week
Every week, you and an assigned partner will connect via phone (or any other real-time voice-to-voice technology you prefer) for a brief conversation. The call should be at least 10 minutes long — enough time for you both to have a quick check-in. (If you and your partner would like to connect for longer, you certainly may, but only if that’s agreeable to you both.) You will partner with the same person for a month and will be assigned a new partner at the start of each month. The primary purposes of the weekly partnership are to maintain a sense of connection between monthly cohort gatherings, to give you a chance to be witnessed in your process, and to give you the opportunity to practice some of the skills you’ll be learning each month. You will be expected to connect with your January partner before our first gathering on January 8, 2022.
Quarterly Mentorship Sessions
1 hour session per quarter
All Wisdom Year participants receive an hour-long mentorship call with me every quarter. During our 1-to-1 calls, we may address whatever themes and topics are relevant to your journey. It’s your time to be used in whatever ways advance your soul’s agenda.
“Elka has amazing facilitation skills and is so talented at guiding the group, and individuals, in their work.”

Testimonials
Hear from Wisdom Year graduates…
Carrie’s art project for the wisdom theme of “Creation.”
“There is really no adequate way to describe the transitions I’ve gone through since working with Elka on an individual basis and also as part of her Wisdom Year.
After my Dad’s death, I began to spiral out of control — unhealthy behaviors and poor choices led me down a path or anxiety, despair and depression. My journey with Elka has landed me in a most surprising place — one of self acceptance, self love, and calm. I no longer reach for Xanax at the first sign of anxiety – I’ve so many other tools to use. I’ve been able to replace my constant state of flight/fight with a calm, knowing feeling that I will be ok. It has been the best gift I’ve ever given myself. And I’ve found many gifts in myself that I have to share with the world!”
— Carrie, member of the 2018 cohort
Nourishing the soul in nature for the wisdom theme of “Beauty.”
I got so much more out of the Wisdom Year than I thought I would be able to!
When I learned of the Wisdom Year, I was immersed in crazy-busy life. The time to meditate, reflect, or do any inner work was at the bottom of my to-do list, if at all. The program components are balanced and blend both structure and individual creative freedom that really helped me to develop self-care habits that fit within my busy lifestyle. As a result, I feel less stressed, more tapped into myself and what I need, and I’m more consistent with taking care of myself — I even stopped several unhelpful habits. Elka has amazing facilitation skills and is so talented at guiding the group, and individuals, in their work. I highly recommend the program and will definitely consider joining a future cohort again!
—Beth, member of the 2017 and 2020 cohorts
Marie’s goddess altar for the August wisdom theme of “Gaia.”
“Prior to starting the Wisdom Year I had been feeling a strong thirst to deepen and develop my personal spiritual practice and step into a place of confidence and authority in this realm.
I was passive and wishful, failing to follow through on spiritual curiosities. Now I am more clear about what topics I want to immerse in and what skills I want to learn. I have noticed a strong shift in the ownership of and responsibility for my spiritual path. I feel more committed to self-study and spiritual self development projects. I also feel inspired by my intuitive skills and more confident bringing them into my work as a healer. The container of this program was exactly what I needed and such a blessing for keeping my attention on spirit and self cultivation when life was busy. I highly recommend this program for anyone interested in upleveling their spiritual life.”
—Marie, member of the 2017 and 2018 cohorts
Cynthia’s talisman for the wisdom theme of “Initiation.”
“The Wisdom Year is everything and more than I could have ever dreamed.
It has been the answer to my prayer as reflected in this Unfinished Poem by John O’Donohue — ‘I would love to live like a river flows, carried by the surprise of its own unfolding.’ Thank you!”
— Cynthia, member of the 2018 and 2020 cohorts
Jeny’s mind map for the wisdom theme of “Chaos.”
“This group opened up my eyes to a whole new way of seeing the world and myself.
When I first signed up I was worried about the time commitment and afraid I didn’t “know” enough to be a contributing member. But now looking back it is so obvious that this program came into my life at the perfect moment. I highly recommend it and am happy to talk with anyone interested in it about my experience.”
—Jeny, member of the 2017, 2018, and 2020 cohorts
Elisa’s ritual for the wisdom theme of “Life Force.”
“Joining the Wisdom Year is truly an act of self love!
I’m so grateful and overjoyed to have found Elka and the Wisdom Year, especially during a time when I was searching for ways to renew and deepen my connection to Spirit.
Since the start of this program, I’ve learned that strengthening this connection is closely intertwined with getting to know myself more deeply and unabashedly. I’ve learned to trust my own intuition and innate wisdom, rather than always looking outwards for guidance and answers. I feel more comfortable with the unknown and have been able to navigate through challenging situations with more ease and even playfulness! I feel more connected to the cycles in nature and the Universe, and know that I am not separate from them. I can access my creative power and recognize the Divine within myself.
I find the structure of the Wisdom Year to be particularly supportive to my spiritual growth. Every month, with it’s new theme, is an invitation to look at myself and the world with a different perspective. The weekly assignments — that feel much more like gifts than homework — encourage you to explore the monthly theme in more detail through activities like art making, creating your own ritual, self reflection through writing or connecting with nature. Monthly meetings and weekly phone calls gave me the heart-filling experience of knowing what it’s like to be part of a magical community made up of amazing, supportive women. The quarterly mentorship calls with Elka are phenomenal and transformative. She has the unique ability to distill and communicate what’s most vital and relevant to your spiritual growth. She can articulate the most subtle feeling or nebulous thought into something crystal clear. With that clarity comes her elegant guidance, a brilliant and potent blend of intuition, practical suggestions, energy work and deep wisdom.
I could easily write pages! Although my child self really just wants to say, ‘Being in the Wisdom Year is like being in the most magical club ever! Closest to Hogwarts as you’re gonna get!’”
—Elisa, member of the 2018 and 2020 cohorts
